Delete your account
Applies to the Planet Ponder mobile app and our games on the web; they share one account.
What gets deleted
Deleting your account permanently removes everything we hold for it, immediately:
- Your profile (name, email, Google or Apple identifier, avatar)
- All solved words, stickers, streaks and saved games, on every device
- Your play history and any gameplay analytics tied to your account
Word-search games you shared by link stay playable for the people you sent them to, and leaderboard entries show only the name you typed. Neither can be used to identify you once the account is gone. Deletion cannot be undone.
In the Planet Ponder app
This is the quickest route, and the only one for accounts created with Sign in with Apple:
- Open Planet Ponder and tap your profile icon in the top corner.
- Tap Delete account, then Delete.
- Confirm with Google, or with Face ID, Touch ID or your passcode when Apple asks.
For Apple accounts this also tells Apple to disconnect the app from your Apple Account, so it disappears from Settings → your name → Sign in with Apple.
On the web, if you signed in with Google
Google accounts can be deleted from a browser without installing anything. Open wordoem.com/delete-account, sign in with the account you want to remove, and use the delete button there. You will be asked to confirm with Google first so that nobody else can delete your account.
The same option lives in Settings (the gear icon) once you are signed in on the Wordoem site.
Can't sign in?
If you no longer have access to the Google or Apple account, email wordoemgame@gmail.com from the address on the account (or tell us which one it was) with the subject “Planet Ponder Data Deletion Request” and we'll delete it for you within 30 days.
See our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service for the full details of what we store.
